Ok, defiently Happy with this, made the stocks way more decrepit looking. think they're done.

Stocks

1st Texture of the stocks!! quite happy with them Might lighten the wood alittle bit!!! I'm considering de-saturating the entire camp though, hopefully this would emphasise the camp is miserable and poor!!!

Trials and Tribulations

Ok, Three different textures. The bottom one is hand coloured. The Middle one was an attempt to recreate a semi- realsitic texture, and the Top one is a simple computer texture.

what does everyone think, I personally think the top texture is the best. I don't think the hand coloured texture works because of the transfer onto the computer. I don't like the Middle texture I'm a great believer in less is more!!!

Washbasin

Just some more test texturing, not sure if I'm going to realistic, might simplify the textures down.

Just test texture's for the animation. think they look good, hope this gives you an idea as for the rest of the Animation.

caravan site

This is the caravan site, its basically finished just untextured which I will be doing over the Christmas Holidays. I think its looking like the jesters lived there for a while now which is intended. all props have been unwrapped! and are basically finished! now we just need to get on with the characters. are schedule says we should have all models unwrapped by christmas. I think we are defiently on schedule!!!! Thanks for the views. keep looking.

Hey Everyone, this is what My Team mate Rudy's been doing over the past week!! I have finished all the props for the 1st scene and almost finished the castle!!! I'm putting it together now and will upload later today!!! as usual please leave comments or opinions!!!! thanks

just a test texture for the backgrounds. you probably won't even notice the toadstools in the film but every details important!!!!!!

Dissertation

This is a rough of the props that I've built. the large square represents the jester's caravan, Fingers crossed we should have the entire environment built and ready for texturing by next week. The only down side is that the Dissertation hand in is in less than two weeks!!! so that may have a slightly larger priority until its finished. as usual please tell me what you think!

Also If you can think of any other props that may well of existed around a campsite in medieval England then I love suggestions. Cheers for reading.

The jester model is also finished, all the character models are at the same stage ready to be rigged. I built the Guard and Rudy built the king and Jester. We'll be adding blend shapes over the next two weeks. its good to see it starting to take shape.

The king model

Here's the king fully Modelled and unwrapped. we're ready to start texturing and rigging!!!! I love the belly its unbelieviably huge, This I hope emphasises his wealth and greed. The crown is still being built but we put the rough on him to give you an idea.

Guard model

Just a heads up about this weeks work! I've almost completely modelled the Guard who is looking rather awesome and the King and Jester are almost done aswell. It's a good feeling knowing that we don't have to concentrate on the story just now because that was beginning to control my life. So for this and next week, we'll get the models checked and we can start UV mapping! Thanks for reading. Keep following!!!

2nd draft Animatic

this Anamtic is the 2nd Draft of the jester film, I've lost alot three weeks making this, and I've had to let Rudy get on with the models. I'm alot happier with the outcome as is my team and I would really appreciate opinions. thankyou

1st Draft animatic

I had a peer review last Monday and this was the Animatic I showed. At the time I felt that the review was a total disaster, however on reflection and support from my team, i realised that it was infact a blessing in disguise. I've uploaded this to show you the difference and I will upload a new Animatic within the week. Despite the critism which was a bit over the top, I plan on making this film to the best of my teams ability, which I know will equal a brilliant short!

My favourite poster I created over the summer, Although the Donkey is no longer in the film, I still love the fluidity of the characters. If you ever wondered what I wish the film to look like this picture is the one I'd show you!!!

Okie Dokey. Apologies for the lack of Posts; and now that's out of the way lets start over I did Alright with the preproduction aspect of My hand-in. Where My hand-in let me down, was because I didn't Submit all I was meant to. So fair enough. So during the summer i decided to develop my drawn Skills and finetune my abilities using Photoshop! I'II put the outcomes on the blog. since the last time I blogged a couple of new team members have arrived? Firstly; Rudy. Wanting to specialize in 3D and Is a great addition to the team... Then theres Callum, ha. Just kidding, He also wants to specialize in 3D and is a great addition aswell.
